The Lamb of Yahuah
What exactly is meant by the word “the Lamb?
There are many ideas about what a lamb is like. When we think of a lamb we often think of a cute little innocent animal. In scripture we see that a lamb was to be an offering for sin. Exo_12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: Lev_14:12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
Gen_22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? Gen_22:8 And Abraham said, My son, Elohim will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
Here we see that a lamb of the first year is for a trespass or sin offering. The blood of the lamb COVERED sin. It didn’t take away sin!
Lambs are considered one of the most innocent of animals. They are docile. They do not struggle when offered as a sacrifice. On the contrary, a pig will fight and squeal when killed. This is the reason Yahusha was likened to a lamb.
Act_8:32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
Yahusha laid down his life for the sheep! He didn’t fight for his life,he laid it down willingly. Joh_10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Yahusha is also the “good shepherd”. HalleluYAH!
Yahusha was a Lamb and a Shepherd. He came in the flesh, a lamb, to save his sheep! He is our brother! He is our peer! We will be judged by one who knows what it is like to live in a body of flesh and understands all our temptations and hardships. He identified with us through his life in the flesh body! This why we can trust him by his Spirit to help us in our times of trial and testing! He knows what we are going through! He went through it as well. Heb_5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
This is how Yahusha came the first time, as a spotless Lamb.
Joh_1:29 The next day John seeth Yahusha coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of Elohim, which taketh away the sin of the world. 1Pe_1:19 But with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Joh_1:36 And looking upon Yahusha as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of Elohim!
Rev_5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim sent forth into all the earth.
Rev_5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Rev_5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Rev_5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Rev_6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
Rev_6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev_7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Rev_7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our Elohim which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Rev_7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Rev_7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and Elohim shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Rev_12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev_13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev_15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord Elohim Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Rev_17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Rev_19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev_19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohim.
Rev_21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
Rev_21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Rev_21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord Elohim Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Rev_21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of Elohim did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Rev_21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Rev_22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb.
Rev_22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Rev_14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their forehead.
Is your name written in the LAMBS book of life? If not, you need to REPENT from all sin! This includes serving other “Elohims” such as Pagan holidays, witchcraft, worship of people and denominations,sorcerers, and all evil lifestyles such as sexual immorality,lying, stealing,murder, and all that is written in the commandments of Yahuah. Turn away from these things and follow Yahusha, by being Born Again with his Holy Spirit living inside of you to help you to live for Yahuah. Confess all sin to Yahuah and ask for forgiveness and he will come and live inside of you and give you the power to overcome temptation. Stay close to those who love Yahusha and live only for the KINGDOM of Yah! He loves you so much that he gave his only son, his only spotless lamb to shed his blood willingly and die so that you can now live FREE from sin! HalleluYAH!
