Statement of Scriptural Understanding

At this time in our walk with Yahusha our Messiah, who will be returning soon, we understand the following statements to be true.

We believe the whole Bible is the true word of Yahuah, the King of the Universe, from Genesis to Revelation. 2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is given by the Ruach Elohiym, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Therefore, we believe that His commandments are not done away with and must therefore, be kept.

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Mat 7:21 Not everyone that says unto me, Adonai, Adonai, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why do you call me good? There is none good but one, that is, Elohiym: but if you will enter into life, guard the commandments.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, guard my commandments.

Joh 15:10 If ye guard my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have guarded my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we guard his commandments.

1Jn 2:4 He that says, I know him, and guards not his commandments, is a liar, and the Truth is not in him.

1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we guard his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Yahusha Ha’Mashiach, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1Jn 3:24 And he that guards his commandments dwells in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Ruach which he has given us.

1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohiym, when we love Elohiym, and guard his commandments.

1Jn 5:3  For this is the love of Elohiym, that we guard his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.2Jn_1:6  And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which guard the commandments of Elohiym, and have the testimony of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the qodeshiym: here are they that guard the commandments of Elohiym, and the faith of Yahusha.

Now we know Yahusha the son and Yahuah the father are one. Therefore, He would not have been able to change the commandments.

Mal 3:6 For I am Yahuah, I change not; therefore ye sons of Ya`aqov are not consumed.

Mal 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from my ordinances, and have not guarded them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, says Yahuah Tseva’oth. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Joh 8:28 Then said Yahusha unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of A’dam, then shall ye know that I am he and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.

Remember that Jacob’s name was changed to Israel.

Gen 32:28 And he said, Your name shall be called no more Ya`aqov, but Yashar’el: for as a prince have you power with Elohiym and with men, and have prevailed.

Paul tells us that in order to be a part of Yahuah’s Kingdom we must be part of the commonwealth of Israel by the Spirit.

Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Mashiach, being aliens from the Devariym of Yashar’el, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without Elohiym in the world:

Joh 10:30 I and my Father are yachad.

Joh 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, guard them by your name, the same name which you have given me, that they may be yachad as we are.

Joh 17:21 That they all may be yachad; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be yachad in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Yahusha was asked about which is the greatest commandment in The Law (the laws given down to Moses by Yahuah at Mount Sinai), NOT what was the ONLY commandment.

Mat 22:36 Rabbi, which is the great commandment in the Torah?

Mat 22:37 Yahusha said unto him, You shall love את Yahuah Elohayka with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the Torah and the prophets

So, we must still keep ALL the commandments (laws) that were shouted down from Mt. Sinai, NOT just the two greatest commandments.

The first five commandments teach us how to love Yahuah and the second five teach us how to love our neighbor.

Exo 20:1 AND Elohiym spoke את all these words, saying,

Exo 20:2 I am Yahuah Elohayka, which have brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.

Exo 20:3 You shall have no other elohiym before me.

Exo 20:4 You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exo 20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahuah Elohayka am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exo 20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and guard my commandments.

Exo 20:7 You shall not take the name of Yahuah Elohayka in vain; for Yahuah will not hold him guiltless את that takes his name in vain.

Exo 20:8 Remember the day of the Shabbath, to keep it holy.

Exo 20:9 Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:

Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the Shabbath of Yahuah Elohayka: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:

Exo 20:11 For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yahuah blessed the day of Shabbath, and hallowed it.

Exo 20:12 Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which Yahuah Elohayka gives you.

Exo 20:13 You shall not kill.

Exo 20:14 You shall not break wedlock.

Exo 20:15 You shall not steal.

Exo 20:16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

Exo 20:17 You shall not lust after your neighbor’s house, you shall not lust after your neighbor’s woman, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

Exo 20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the shofar, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

Exo 20:19 And they said unto Mosheh, Speak with us, and we will hear: but let not Elohiym speak with us, lest we die.

Exo 20:20 And Mosheh said unto the people, Fear not: for Elohiym is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

Exo 20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Mosheh drew near unto the thick darkness where Elohiym was.

Exo 20:22 And Yahuah said unto Mosheh, Thus you shall say unto the children of Yashar’el, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:18 For amein I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled.

We also believe that all sacrifices are fulfilled by Yahusha Ha’Mashiach our Master and Savior.

Also, we believe that the Levitical priesthood is no longer in effect and that we are now in the order of Melchizedek (Heb 7:11).  Yahusha is our high priest and Savior and Yahusha is the only son of Yahuah the King of the Universe, the Great I AM (Exo 3:14-15), The El of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Exo 3:14 And Elohiym said unto El-Mosheh, Ehayah Asher Ehayah: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yashar’el, Ehayah has sent me unto you.

Exo 3:15 And Elohiym said moreover unto El-Mosheh, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yashar’el, Yahuah Elohai of your fathers, the Elohai of Avraham, the Elohai of Yitschaq, and the Elohai of Ya`aqov, has sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my mention unto all generations.

Heb 5:6 As he says also in another place, You are a priest forever after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq.

Heb 5:10 Called of Elohiym a High Priest after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq.

Heb 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Yahusha, made a High Priest forever after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq.

Heb 7:1 FOR this Malkiy-Tsedeq, King of Shalem, priest of El Elyon, who met Avraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

Gen 14:17 And the king of Cedom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Kedorla`omer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s valley.

Gen 14:18 And Malkiy-Tsedeq king of Shalem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of El Elyon.

Heb 7:9  And as I may so say, Leviy also, who received tithes, payed tithes in Avraham.

Heb 7:10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Malkiy-Tsedeq met him.

Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the Law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq, and not be called after the order of Aharon?

Heb 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Malkiy-Tsedeq there arises another priest,

Heb 7:16 Who is made, not after the regimen of the commands of the flesh, but after the power of an endless life.

Heb 7:17 For he testifies, You are a priest forever after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq.

Heb 7:21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, Yahuah swore and will not repent, You are a priest forever after the order of Malkiy-Tsedeq:)

Finally, we have come out of Babylon and no longer observe the pagan holidays of Halloween, Christmas, and Easter etc., but celebrate and honor His set apart days.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Jer 10:1 HEAR ye the Word which Yahuah speaks unto you, O house of Yashar’el:

Jer 10:2 Thus says Yahuah, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Jer 10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

Jer 10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jer 10:5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Jer 10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto you, O Yahuah; you are great, and your name is great in might.

Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Mashiach, being aliens from the Devariym of Yashar’el, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without Elohiym in the world:

So, here is the list of set apart days we observe because our Messiah observed them as well.

Feasts of the Yahuah

Lev 23:1 AND Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying,

Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Yahuah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy assemblies, even these are my feasts.

The Sabbath (Shabbath)

Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Shabbath of rest, a holy assembly; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Shabbath of Yahuah in all your dwellings.

The Passover (Pecach)

Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of Yahuah, even holy assemblies, which ye shall proclaim in their appointed times.

Luk 22:12 And he shall show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

Luk 22:13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the Pecach.

Luk 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this Pecach with you before I suffer:

The Feast of Unleavened Bread (Matstsah)

Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Matstsah unto Yahuah: seven days ye must eat matstsah.

Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have a holy assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Lev 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah seven days: in the seventh day is a holy assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein.

The Feast of Firstfruits

Lev 23:9 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying,

Lev 23:10 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before Yahuah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Shabbath the priest shall wave it.

Pentecost (Shavu’oth)

Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Shabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Shabbaths shall be complete:

Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh Shabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a renewed oblation unto Yahuah.

Act 2:1 AND when the day of Shavu’oth was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

The Day of Trumpets (Yom Teruah)

Lev 23:23  And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying,

Lev 23:24  Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Shabbath, a memorial of blowing of shofars, a holy assembly.

Lev 23:25  Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah.

Evening of Atonement (Ereb Kippuriym)

Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a Shabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening unto evening, shall ye celebrate your Shabbath.

The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippuriym)

Lev 23:26 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying,

Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippuriym: it shall be a holy assembly unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah.

Lev 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is Yom Kippuriym, to make an atonement for you before Yahuah Elohaykem.

Lev 23:30 And whatsoever soul it be that does any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Lev 23:31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Feast of Tabernacles (Cukkoth)

Lev 23:33 And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying,

Lev 23:34 Speak unto the children of Yashar’el, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Cukkoth for seven days unto Yahuah.

Lev 23:35 On the first day shall be a holy assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Eighth [day of] Assembly (Shemini Atzeret)

Lev 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yahuah seven days: on the first day shall be a Shabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Shabbath.

Joh 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yahusha stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Joh 7:38 He that believes on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

To recap our statement of understanding, please recall these important beliefs:

  1. We believe in the WHOLE Bible from Genesis to Revelation,
  2. That ALL the commandments are still in place,
  3. Yahuah (Our Father) and Yahusha (Our Messiah) are ONE,
  4. Yahusha was our ultimate sacrifice and therefore, ALL sacrifices have been FULFILLED, and
  5. We celebrate HIS feasts.

Again, this is our understanding at this time and we will continue to seek The Father and test everything against the scriptures.

We truly believe that the following scripture describes our fellow Brothers and Sisters best… Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the qodeshiym: here are they that guard the commandments of Elohiym, and the faith of Yahusha.

So, if you keep the commandments and have the faith of Yahusha, MAY…

Num 6:24 Yahuah bless you, and guard you:

Num 6:25 Yahuah make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:

Num 6:26 Yahuah lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Num 6:27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Yashar’el; and I will bless them.
